Austin Girls’ Night Out

I had an absolute blast exploring 5th Street with my girlfriends! Our night kicked off with a fabulous dinner at Wu Chow, an authentic farm-to-table Chinese restaurant serving fresh and modern dishes. If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend going as a group so you can order a variety of items to share. Trust me, it’s the best way to sample their incredible menu! Of course, I couldn’t resist pairing the meal with a glass of bubbly — the Chiarli Brut Rosé Spumante NV was a perfect choice.

After our delicious dinner, we made our way to Miracle on 5th Street, a Christmas-themed pop-up bar that truly captures the holiday spirit. The bar was decked out in twinkling lights, tinsel, and ornaments, creating a cozy winter wonderland right in the heart of Austin. The festive décor, cheerful vibes, and creative drinks made it an unforgettable experience. From the "naughty" and "nice" shots to the whimsical holiday cocktails served in adorable glassware, every detail felt straight out of a Christmas movie.

One of the highlights of the night was the shot ski board — a ski with multiple shot glasses attached, perfect for sharing a festive toast with friends. It was such a fun and unique addition that brought plenty of laughs and great photo opportunities!

We couldn’t stop marveling at the holiday-themed playlists, garlands hanging from every corner, and even a few friendly elves making the rounds to spread cheer. It was the perfect spot to soak in the holiday magic with good company and plenty of laughs.

If you’re in Austin during the holiday season, both Wu Chow and Miracle on 5th Street are must-visits for an evening filled with good food, great drinks, and wonderful company. Until next time, may your days be merry and bright, and happy exploring!
