A Day Among the Vines: BeeMaRosa Winery Shoot with Patrice & Riah

🍇 Embracing Beauty in Bloom

There’s a unique kind of peace that comes with walking through a vineyard, the soft crunch of dirt beneath your feet, the rows of green vines stretching toward the sky, and that comforting hum of summer air. I got to soak in all of that and more during a recent shoot at BeeMaRosa Vineyard & Winery in Belton, Texas, with the amazing Patrice of S.P. Photography and the beautiful Riah.

Even though the grapes weren’t fully ripe, the vineyard still felt alive, like it was quietly preparing for something extraordinary. Looking back, I think we all were.

Wine Feature: “Sweet Winnie”

A Texas Red to Remember

Of course, what’s a vineyard shoot without a little wine? We got to sip on Sweet Winnie, a delicious Cabernet/Muscat blend that’s proudly Texan and beautifully balanced. At 12%, it’s bold, sweet, and incredibly smooth, one of my new favorite red wines. If you’re ever visiting BeeMaRosa, Do Not skip this bottle.

Pro tip: Pair it with a sunset and good company. You’re welcome.

The Shoot: Natural Light & Honest Moments

Patrice has an incredible gift for capturing emotion through the lens. She knows how to find the softness in strength and the elegance in simplicity. I felt so at ease shooting with her, and working alongside Riah—who is just as sweet as she is stunning—made the day even more special.

My Two Looks:

Look One: Classic and bold. I wore a big, dramatic hat paired with natural-toned shoes. It felt timeless and vineyard-ready, like something from a countryside editorial.
Look Two: Short and sweet, but totally me. A flowy white dress and my favorite cowboy boots. Casual, fun, and full of personality. I only wish we had more time in this one!

This shoot reminded me that sometimes, the best stories come from moments that don’t go perfectly to plan. We may have run short on time, but what we captured was honest, joyful, and meaningful. I’m so grateful to Patrice for her vision and creativity, and to Riah for sharing her energy and heart.
