Meet the Woman Behind Sabby’s Sojourns
Hi, I’m Sabrina, though around here, I go by Sabby.
I’m the heart, soul, and slightly chaotic creative behind Sabby’s Sojourns. Whether you’ve followed me for the food, the travels, or you’re just now stumbling into my world—I’m so glad you’re here.
Who am I?
I’m a Korean American woman born on Fort Hood and raised in the Temple/Belton area of Central Texas (still here — at least for now). I’m a dog mom to Alec and Wiggles, a traveler with an insatiable appetite for new foods, and a newly minted model learning how to walk in my power-heels, optional.
By day, I work in HR and accounting. By heart, I’m a storyteller who finds magic in the tiny moments — like sipping pumpkin chai in a new city or dancing barefoot in fairy wings.
This past year, life gave me the plot twist I didn’t ask for: I ended my marriage and stepped into singlehood. It was painful, messy, and surprisingly empowering. Through therapy, creativity, and a lot of energy drinks, I began rebuilding a version of myself that I actually like. Modeling cracked me open in the best way, and I’m learning to see myself with both softness and strength.
Fun Facts about me:
I will never say no to Korean BBQ.
My go-to comfort drink is a Matcha latte with almond milk.
I recently hosted my own divorce party.
I’d love to model for Alphalete one day.
I once did a fairy photoshoot in full costume… inside a bakery.
I’m slowly learning to embrace my Korean roots.
My ideal weekend? Farmers market, sunshine, and absolutely no plans.
I truly believe mead belongs in more love stories.
Whether you’re here to find a foodie recommendation, read about healing, or want to know someone else gets it, thank you. This is more than a blog to me. It’s a safe space to grow, reflect, and celebrate life’s brave little moments.
I hope my journey helps you feel a little more seen in yours.
With love,
Sabby
